The complete Saphir Médaille d'Or colour chart, localised for Australia. Every shade below is in stock at The Dapper Assembly — each shows our own product photo with an indicative colour swatch beneath. Tap any tin to shop that exact colour. Not sure which to pick? Our shoe-care concierge will match it from a photo (see the bottom of the page).

Please note: the swatch under each tin is an indicative colour guide — screens and leather both change how a colour reads. Use it as a starting point, and when in doubt send us a photo of your shoes and we'll match it.

How to choose your shade

  • Match equal or slightly lighter — never darker. Pigmented cream builds with each coat, so a slightly lighter shade deepens to a perfect match over time; too-dark is hard to undo.
  • Unsure? Use Neutral (02). It nourishes and shines without adding colour — the safe default, and best on pale leathers that stain easily.
  • Always test first on a hidden area before doing the whole shoe.
  • Burnished or antiqued toes are multi-tone — use the lighter base shade over most of the shoe and a darker shade (or wax) only at the toe and heel.

Pommadier Crème 1925 — cream polish colours

The flagship nourishing cream: restores colour and leaves a soft, natural sheen. 14 shades in stock.

Pâte de Luxe — wax polish colours

The finishing wax: layers over cream to add protection and a higher shine, especially at the toe and heel. 12 shades in stock (50ml).

Mirror Gloss — high-shine wax

For mirror and spit-shine finishes on the toe and heel. Stocked in Black, Neutral, Dark Brown and Medium Brown — Neutral works over any colour.
